Windows Media Player or Winamp - Use this option to listen to the Edmonton Fire Department with your default media player (Windows Media Player, Winamp, etc). You will not need to register in order to listen using this method.
TeamSpeak - You can use this option if you have TeamSpeak installed on your computer. Before you can listen to the Edmonton Fire Department using TeamSpeak you will need to register a username on the IBN TeamSpeak server. Registration is free and providing personal information such as an email address is not required. Instructions can be downloaded HERE.
WiFi Internet Radio - If you would like to listen useing a WiFi radio that is compatable with the Reciva database follow this link to add Edmonton Fire Radio to your list of favorite stations and have it automatically uploaded to your receiver.
You will hear both voice & automated dispatch. Alert tones prior to dispatch for a fire run is an alternating high and low tone. Medical runs have a single tone. Assistance calls have a chirp tone. Fire incidents will be assigned a Working channel. Medical calls are assigned an Update channel.
